The parents were right to remove their children
Those who feel the parents were right to remove their children say that, on the grounds of safety alone, they were right to do it. They feel that the parents should make the call if it is safe enough for their children to be there, not the school. Also people believe, as first daughter, Ivanka Trump is a political figure, and the parents have the right to decide if they want their children to meet her. To many people, she is not a good role model, with a questionable history in business, and they do not want their kids around her, or trying to be like her. Finally, there are people who feel she has silently endorsed behavior and policies put forward by her father, and they don’t want their kids exposed to her because of that.
This is a woman I would NOT want my daughter to look up to. She is the opposite of a strong, fair, independent woman. I want my daughter to have principles.

As well they should be. When my kids were in school, all visits etc were approved by the BoE,school AND the PTA. No way would I allow an unsupervised visits w/o parents in attendance.

Completely out of line. If nothing else, parents should have been informed for safety concerns. Of course, we expect thoughts of that not to enter t rump and entourage heads…thinking about the average citizen is too difficult
