Recently, Supreme Court handed an overwhelming victory (7-2) to a Colorado Christian baker who refused for religious reasons to make a wedding cake for a gay couple. According to media reports, baker Jack Phillips refused to take a wedding cake order from a gay couple David Mullins and Charlie Craig in 2012. After six years, now the case is finally resolved.

Some news analysts believe that the Supreme Court ruling is has a very narrow scope, as the court didn’t reach the core issue of whether religious beliefs exempt people from following anti-discrimination laws. Whereas, others believe that the court’s ruling makes it clear that no private business should be forced to supply service to anyone they choose not to.

This scenario instigated a debate over social media regarding whether people really support the Supreme Court decision that went in favor of Wedding Cake Store Owner
