No, Republicans should not negotiate a DACA deal while government is shutdown
Those who feel the Republicans should not negotiate say that immigration has no place in this discussion. To them, this is about funding the government, not solving a problem that can wait a few more weeks. Many of the president’s supporters are of the opinion that they want DACA ended and they applaud the hardline stance the Republicans and the president are taking. Others feel that the government should take care of American citizens first and then worry about the people who are here illegally. Finally, some think the Democrats are holding the country hostage and the last thing you should do is negotiate with a hostage-taker.

Why would immigration be part of the discussion anyway!? #schumershutdown

Why should illegal immigrants who aren't American citizens be in a bill about Americans?

No DACA we don’t want it!
