Yes, Republicans should negotiate a DACA deal while government is shutdown
People who feel the Republicans should negotiate on DACA say that it is going to take compromise to end this. In their opinion, taking a “my way or the highway” approach will cause this shutdown to drag on forever. Many feel this is an easy fix and the Republicans are just being stubborn to their own detriment. In the minds of many, the American people overwhelmingly want the Dreamers to stay, so the Republicans don’t have any power in this situation. Finally, a great number of people think it is time for the president and the Republicans to act like adults and negotiate a deal that will end the shutdown and allow the Dreamers to stay like the American people want.
Art of the deal but he doesn't understand that he does not hold the power here because every major poll shows the vast majority of Americans blame him and the GOP for this. He owns this but he doesn't have the upper hand. #GOPshutdown #TrumpShutdown #RepublicanShutDown #Dolt45

The White House is still trying Trump's "my way or the highway"approach to negotiations even though it has failed miserably. Congress needs to compromise, vote & if POTUS won't sign, override his veto. They work for the American People & Trump needs to learn that the hard way.

government just doesn't open, it opens as a result of negotiations and agreements.

It is not up to Trump, it is up to Ryan, Hoyer, McConnell and Schumer. They need to act like adults and come up with a bipartisan bill that will pass.
