Recently, the U.S. and its allies including Britain and France launched a surgical strike against Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria. President Trump congratulated the Americans and tweeted that “Mission is Accomplished”.
Russia, the top ally of Bashar’s regime, issued several warnings that such armed attacks in a foreign sovereign state will not be left without consequences. For instance, Russian
Ambassador Anatoly Antonov stated that “… we warned that such actions will not be left without any consequences and all the responsibility for them rests with Washington, Paris, and London”.
Putin, President of Russia, labeled this strikes as an act of aggression against a sovereign state. Some policy analysts believed that Russia will launch a retaliatory attack, whereas, other believe that Russia will not retaliate as it could result in “World War 3”
