President Donald Trump recently announced through his Twitter handle that Mike Pompeo is going to replace Rex Tillerson, as the new Secretary of State. President Trump also nominated Gina Haspel to become the CIA’s first-ever woman Director
Tillerson, the Former CEO of ExxonMobil, joined the Trump’s cabinet only a year ago. He had to cut short his South Africa’s visit to arrive in Washington on Tuesday, only to learn that White House fired him.
While Speaking to Reporters, Trump said that “Rex Tillerson has done a splendid job, however, we disagreed on things”. Furthermore, he also mentioned that the differences with Rex came down to “personal chemistry”
This is not the first high-profile White House departure, he joined dozens of other staff members who either resigned or got fired.
This scenario instigated a debate over social media about Whether White House is crumbling or getting stronger?
