Recently, Trump tweeted that “As has been stated by numerous legal scholars, I have the absolute right to Pardon myself, but why would I do that when I have done nothing wrong?” Trump’s legal team also ‘argued that “President Trump holds broad constitutional powers, including the power to pardon, in matters related to Russian collusion”.

Some news analysts believe that Trump can Pardon Self if required to do so. However, doing so will destroy Trump’s political career. Whereas, others believe that according to House Representative committee findings, Trump has done nothing wrong, therefore, he will not use the power of self-pardon.
