Yes, President Trump should take the climate change threat seriously
Those who believe that President Trump should take the climate change threat seriously, argue that we can’t afford to ignore climate change. Furthermore, they argued that this denial is dangerous. A debate participant added that “I’m not certain that the polar vortex affecting Chicago especially and the US is due to climate change and if President Trump is still in denial, I don’t know what else to say”. Another debate participant added that “@realDonaldTrump Chicago is colder than Antarctica. How many people will die before you decide climate change is real and not a Chinese hoax?”.
In Chicago we’re going to have a low of -27 degrees and by Monday it will be 52. That’s an almost 80 degree increase in the span of 5 days. @realDonaldTrump, tell me again that #climatechange is a hoax. Ignorant bastard. #Chiberia2019 #PolarVotex #PolarVotex2019

We can’t afford to ignore #climatechange. Denial is dangerous.. @realDonaldTrump a Polar Vortex hitting Chicago doesn't disprove Climate Change..it is actually a product of disrupted weather pattens attributed to a WARMING PLANET so #GTFO! https://t.co/jvNeenHh6L @genprogress

80 below wind chill was recorded (and I experienced first-hand) in Chicago in the winters of 1982 and 1983. I’d remind you that local extreme temperatures are part of global climate change but you are willfully ignoring science.
