Recently, NFL administration and NFL Players Association representatives released a joint statement to put a hold on the league rule requiring the players on the field to stand for the national anthem.
Media analysts believe that NFL strategy to put its anthem protest policy on hold is a good move as it will allow them to negotiate with the player’s union and come up with a solution that addresses the concerns of all concerned parties. Whereas, others believe that the NFL made a bad move. They argue that although players should have the right to register protest social injustice, they should do that in their own time.
This scenario instigated a debate over social media regarding whether NFL freezing its Anthem Protest Policy is a good strategy?
