Law professor says recent abortion laws is an effort to force courts to confront Roe [v. Wade]. Do you agree?

The US Supreme Court ruled in Roe v. Wade [1973] that banned abortions in state laws, except in cases when the mother’s life is in danger, was unconstitutional.

That ruling made abortions legal in the US for multiple cases and stated that a woman’s right to privacy extended to the fetus/unborn child she was carrying.

With many of the recent abortion laws that have been recently been passed, such as the one in Alabama to some seem like an effort to force the courts to confront Roe [v. Wade],” according to a law professor. do you agree?
