Recently, Kim Jong-un (North Korea Leader) and Moon Jae-in (South Korean President) shake hands and exchanged greetings in the first inter-Korean summit in over a decade. People around the globe consider this summit as a defining moment in establishing global peace.
Some policy analysists believe that this summit will begin a new era of peace and prosperity for the Korean peninsula, as both countries are willing to bring peace in the region. Whereas, others believe that there is nothing new about this summit, as we have already witnessed such events in 1992, 2000 and 2007. This is just a routine meeting between the two countries.
The scenario instigated a debate over social media regarding whether the inter-Korean Summit marks the beginning of a new era?
