Gary Cohn, Former Goldman Sachs president, resigned from his position as the Chief Economic Advisor of Trump’s administration over the issue of imposing high tariffs on steel and aluminum imports.

Cohn is not the first high profile departure from White House. In January 2018, Brookings Institute conducted a research about turnover rate in White House and found that Trump’s era has the highest turnover rate in the history of White House. Furthermore, the report also highlighted that the turnover rate of Trump’s cabinet is more than the combined turnover rate of previous five cabinets.

Gary Cohn’s departure from the White House instigated a debate over social media, about whether there is something wrong with the Trump’s cabinet.
