Recently, Bloomberg published an article written by Gillian Tan and Katia Porzecanski, titled ‘Wall Street Rule for the #MeToo Era: Avoid Women at All Cost’. According to the authors, “Across Wall Street, men are adopting controversial strategies for the #MeToo era and, in the process, making life even harder for women”.

Some media analysts believe that Wall Street firms are responding to #MeToo threat by avoiding contact with women. They believe that #MeToo is responsible for making professional life even harder for women. Whereas, others believe that #MeToo is just a platform for women to express their concerns regarding un-adequate sexual behavior of male colleagues and higher-ups.

This scenario instigated a debate across social media regarding whether the #metoo movement has gone too far?
